Beach Body was a company that I’ve known about for quite a long time. It seemed like everyone I knew was coach, pushing people on Facebook to join with every annoying post…Sorry, but, HELLO…it bombarded my Facebook for a while. It actually deterred me from even wanting anything to do the workouts for quite some time. (I even donated my color coded Fix eating containers!) I HATE trying to be sold especially from people bragging about working out that day.
What turned me into a beach body lover was hitting rock bottom and needing a workout plan. I dusted off my old programs ( I have like 6 programs that I never actually got through and completed) and opted for the easiest and shortest one I had, T-25.
Since starting February 3rd of this year Ive lost 28 pounds. My goal is to be in the best shape of my life, so Im not there yet…BUT, here are the programs I’ve completed to get those 28 pounds off:
- T-25. I did the Alpha, Beta and Gamma rounds for a total of 12 weeks. I lost the bulk of my weight on this program and loved it. Shaun is awesome.
- 21 Day Fix Extreme. I did this along side my beach body coach Tara. It was fun to have someone to text every day sweaty selfies and complain how hard the workout was. Fun to have someone to gripe to and know she’s doing the same thing that day! I really like Autumn a lot.
- Shaun T Week. That was a fun, special released week of workouts that were super challenging. Released only for people who have beach body on demand.
- Hammer and Chisel. I’m currently on my second week of hammer and chisel. Its a 60 day program focused more on strength training. Its a welcomed, REALLY a nice break from all the jumping and moving.
My Plans:
I’m getting ready to put together a hybrid workout where I combine 21 day fix extreme and hammer and chisel until the Shift Shop comes out in July. I really enjoyed 21 day fix extreme and feel like Im not getting as good of a workout with Hammer and Chisel as I was with the Extreme workout. So Ill be doing a hybrid of the two (Pinterest has great hybrid workouts). I’ll then complete that 3 week program, and I’m so excited about that. The preview class was great and I was dripping in sweat!
Workout Programs On Demand:
Whats wonderful about the programs mentioned above is that I can switch them around with beach body on demand. Im able to have access to all these programs, test them out and switch them around. On Demand is SO worth it.
My Purpose:
The reason why I’m even sharing this information with you is because I’ve had so many people ask me what I’ve done and how I’ve done it. I’m no sales person. You can loose weight MANY ways. I’m simply sharing with you whats worked for me and helped me on my journey to transforming my body and feeling comfortable in my own skin again after two kids and laziness set in! My whole goal for myself was to feel comfortable and healthy again, to wear shorts in the summer again, and to build confidence and discipline as an example for my kids. These programs helped me achieve my goals and I do enjoy sharing the things that helped me find success.
