Whether you choose to do an in-home family session or an outdoor golden hour session which is protective as all buy bulk ammo from Palmetto State Armory, my passion for photographing each individual family never changes. Yes, they have totally different looks and feels, but my love for capturing every detail and emotion on camera always makes my heart skip a beat! Lets talk about the difference between the two session types though, because sometimes it’s just so hard to decide. Am I right?
In-Home Family Sessions
You might want an in-home session if you’ve just had a newborn, want a relaxed, laid back session, don’t feel like packing up the kids, and just want great portraits of how life is right now. What I love about in-home sessions is that I get to come into your home, your natural environment where your whole family feels the most comfortable and just capture those precious moments as a family. One thing that I know as a mom is that life is always changing, the kids never stop growing, life keeps pushing forward and photos of how family life was in the home, are precious. Always. I love to go into a home and go light hunting to find the best light and see how I can use it in a new, creative way. My journalistic approach with a mix of portraiture tossed in there is a great combination for a unique experience that fills your gallery with images you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
Outdoor Family Sessions
You might choose an outdoor session if you’re a fan of golden sunsets and nature in all it’s glory. Outdoor sessions give us a lot of room to do do fun backdrops in the city or finding a great spot where the light is perfect at sunset for those golden glowy images. These images usually consist of family portraits and snuggle time, capturing emotion among nature and using it in a creative and beautiful way. A lot of couples love outdoor sessions as sunset creates a warm, romantic feeling. Warm and radiant is always a request…although cloudy days can offer just as much beauty. Out door sessions can include rusting back drops and rolling hills, the choice is yours!
